Maxixatzen is a unique word used exclusively in my hometown, Azkoitia (Gipuzkoa). It means “to gossip”, and it’s most commonly heard in its conjugated form, where it translates to “gossiping.”
For example, a typical phrase would be:
"Horko neska hoxek maxixatzen ai die," which means: "Those girls over there are gossiping."
