• Ask for and give personal information (nationality, residence, activities, interests, family, friends, weather, etc.).

• Make simple introductions and descriptions of people, places, activities and interests.
  Write very simple personal correspondence (postcards) based on models.

Some prior exposure maybe passively or at home with class moving at a moderate pace.

Course Objectives:

• Understand very short conversations about everyday or personal matters (greetings, farewells, introductions, thanks and apologies), instructions and simple directions.

• Understand very basic instructions for filling in forms and forms.

• Understand and extract predictable global and specific information from very short texts with frequent vocabulary.

• Understand the most relevant parts of announcements and short messages.

For students who have completed the High Beginner or equivalent course series and are developing confidence in everyday communication

OR

Able to easily manage basic conversation about themself, ask for information about and from others and are able to begin to correspond in Euskara via written and spoken communication.

Course Objectives:

• Ask for and offer objects, favors and everyday objects.

• Understand the most relevant part of what is said in basic transactions (shopping, enrolling in a course, registering in a hotel).

• Write notes with very basic information, instructions and directions related to daily activities "I am looking for an apartment".
